Associate Editor
Eliza Harvey is the Associate Editor of Rampart, overseeing the Rampart Talks podcast and leading the editorial team. Eliza joined Rampart from the ABC, where she was Executive Producer of Q+A. With two decades of experience in journalism and communications, she is a former political reporter in New South Wales and Western Australia and a host on the ABC’s News Channel.

Senior Writer
Amelia McGuire joined Rampart as a senior writer in June 2026. She was previously a technology reporter at The Australian Financial Review and before that, covered aviation, tourism and gambling for The Sydney Morning Herald. She is based in Bangkok.

Commercial Manager
Anthony Simic joined Rampart as an Editorial Assistant in March 2025. He is now the Commercial Manager and oversees sales, corporate partnerships, and Rampart’s Chairman’s Lounge. Prior to joining Rampart he worked in project management consulting and as a political staffer.

Ben Espiner is a digital and broadcast media producer with a background spanning radio, television, podcasting and print journalism. He moved to Australia from New Zealand in 2025, where he produced content for Nine Entertainment and News Corp before joining Rampart in 2026.

Claire Kimball
Strategic Adviser
Claire Kimball is the founder and managing director of Squiz Media, publisher of The Squiz’s market-leading newsletters, podcasts and video news content. Claire has also driven the development of Squiz Kids, which produces media literacy programs for primary-aged children, and is a board member of the Digital Publishers Alliance. Before starting Squiz Media in 2017, Claire was a political/media adviser and communications director at Woolworths Group.
